Funkwerk (FEC) released two new wireless access points, the Funkwerk W1002 and Funkwerk W2002. It supports 802.11b, g and a in the 2.4GHz spectrum up to 54Mbit/s data transfer, as well as the European standard 802.11n in the 5GHz range. Funkwerk W2002 with two wireless modules can support both frequencies. Info after the jump.

Both devices supports up to 16 virtual access points per wireless module, Multi-SSID and VLAN. For security encryptions, both support WEP and WPA, WPA2 Personal and WPA2. The devices also allow the use of central RADIUS servers and both models support the automatic bridge mode and protect connections with TKIP or AES coding.

Both of the devices will be available in retail from July 2006. The recommended selling price for Funkwerk W1002 is USD 448 (ex. VAT) and USD 769 (ex. VAT) for the W2002.
