This watch features 8 selectable frequency channels and 38 subchannels which helps u to make sure you communicate with the right person. A fully charge of this watch will last for 40 hours of battery life on standby and about 2 hours of talk time (batteries themselve is rechargable). The watches seem to work pretty well, too: the Norwegian Winter Olympics team used them during the most recent Olympics.
