Look at the BMW new feature, by just pressing a button at the remote key the car will automatically move itself into the garage on its own. BMW says this feature will be on the market in 3 years. This system is pretty easy, but of course garage door have to be open before you press the button. The system works with a reflective lens which needs to be attached to the wall in the garage. A small camera is fixed behind the wind shield of the car for measuring the distance and angle of the car in relation to the lens. The system needs at least 20 centimeters at the right and left side of the car to be able to park it in your garage.
