Lexus plans for a Hybrid Supercar

Lexus plans for a hybrid version on its forthcoming LF-A supercar reports Autocar UK. The car will be mounted with a 5.0 litre V8 with boast 435 horsepower. Top speed will be 200mph and will boost to 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds. Toyota has decided to opt for the V8 instead of V10 to closely align the car to F1 standards to capitalize on its major involvement in F1 racing. The car is expected unveiled in the coming 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. More pics
