Price-Cut on PS3 20GB

Ken Kutragi head honcho of Sony Computer Entertainment threw in a few surprises for Playstation 3 fans at the Tokyo Game Show. The inclusion of the HDMI port(pic above) for the 20GB version which was earlier optional in order to keep costs low and now you enjoy high-def gaming on your large LCD without any extra cost. The Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g) and the 3 in 1 card reader will still remain optional for the 20GB model. The price has been reduced from an earlier 59,800 ($ 499) to 49,980 Yen ($ 425) almost a 10,000 Yen drop ($ 85). The revised pricing is for the Japanese market and the US pricing will still remains the same ($ 499). For European and Asian fans, you will have to wait till March 2007 to get one.
