ASUSTeK’s W5Fe is the first laptop which features dual-screens, with an external display featuring its own power switch, a four-way directional pad w/central selector button, and a menu button for choosing which task you wish to perform. The system is provided by PortalPlayer Preface, and it is known officially as Windows SideShow. It lets you access flight departure information, movie show times, alerts, play games, movies, images and MP3s. Best of all, it can run for hundreds of hours without draining your notebook battery. Pricing and availability has not been announced.
