Kokaro a division of Sanrio (specialized in robotic) has unveiled the Actroid DER2 fembot a successor to the Actroid DER. The Actroid DER2 is somehow a bit thinner and can do more expressions. This lifelike Actroid DER2 is control by system of actuators powered by pneumatic pressure which will control its limbs, torso and facial expressions. She can even choreograph her motions and gestures with her voice. She’s not for sale but you can rent her for 400,000 yen ($3,500) for 5 days. Watch her clips…
