The supercars test, Autocar took 9 of the fastest cars in the world and tested them on a straight road. Cars tested:

• Bugatti Veyron EB16.4
• Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
• Lamborghini Murciélago LP640
• Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
• Aston Martin Vanquish S
• Porsche 911 Turbo
• Chevrolet Corvette Z06
• Dodge Viper SRT-10
• Ford GT

Without doubt the Bugatti Veryon beat the second place Ferrari 599 GTB, it boosts from 0 to 186mph by an astonishing 11.7 seconds. This $ 1.2 million the Bugatti Veyron is the fastest production car in the world.…

    the Pagani Zonda is 7th fastest in the world and its not on there

    To: David _The SSC didnt break the record till Oct. of the next year, and it has reset the record after that.. to 257 mph.And at the time of the Guinness run, it could not reach top speed, due to track space… Its not in the list as it wasnt around then..
