After the thinnest camera module, today Sharp has developed the world’s smallest digital TV module codenamed VA3A5JZ912, measuring only 7.3mm x 6.3mm x 1.25mm. This module is compatible with Japanese 1-Seg terrestrial digital broadcast. The mass production for this TV module will commence in September. Pricing has not been released.
