Qisda Corp of Taiwan has announced its new smartphone that features IEEE802.16e mobile WiMAX, wireless LAN, and support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks. This smartphone will be powered by Microsoft Windows 6.1 operating system and support for WiMAX via SIP and VoIP networks in addition to voice calls via wireless LAN. It is capable to handle its WiMAX speeds of up to 8 to 10Mbps after tuning.
