Nokia has released a new enhanced calculator application for S60 devices. Free beta version is available for download at the betalabs. This enhanced calculator java application will give you more maths functions such as SIN, COS, TAN, X^y etc like the scientific calculator. It is compatible on QVGA screen (240×320 or 320×240 pixels) else you’ll get an error message and the application will be closed.

Besides English, the latest update posted last week says the calculator also includes localized string for German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Turkish.

In essence, this is the same calculator application that is pre-installed in several Nokia phones based on Series 40. The purpose of this beta trial is to evaluate whether or not to replace the standard S60 calculator with the one used in Series 40.
