How Not to Build a Computer

If this guy building his own computer system, wow that’s cool, an old television set as monitor, typewriter as keyboard and clothes iron as the mouse. I think it is possible to mod a normal computer system into this style, but what for.

LG's 240Hz LCD TV

LG has launched a set of 42 and 47” LCD TV in Korea that use 240Hz panel, similar to the “MotionFlow from Sony”. LG has improved its LCD contrast ratio so as colors and implemented an Anti-glare layer to the LCD. Besides that, LG also include an USB port which allowed you access to your Photo and playing MP3 audio files. Hey! Elecom's MF-SU2 Series Thumbdrive

How small is the USB drive today? Here’s one by Elecom, measures 18x15x7mm and weighs 2.5grams. It is the MF-SU2 Series, choose from Black, Blue, White, and Pink, and there are two versions, the 4GB and 8GB. Asus Eee TOP, the all-in-one desktop is now available for pre-order. It is going to be released on March 9th, 2009 in US, for $600. This Eee Top is powered by an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, comes with 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and running on Windows XP Home OS.

The new Mac mini is greener, claimed as the world’s most energy-efficient desktop computer. When idle, Mac mini uses less than 13 watts which is 45 percent less energy than ever before. It is powered by 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, supports up to 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, up to 320GB, Slot-loading 8x SuperDrive with double-layer support, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor, built-in Bluetooth and WiFi, and running on Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard. UK Band uses iPhone and iPod Touch to creates Song

A London music band, the Mentalists, has performed a live cover of MGMT’s “Kids”. And the interesting part is that the performance was performed using only the apps found in the Apple App Store, includes Ocarina, Retro Synth, miniSynth, and DigiDrummer Lite, with their iPhone and their iPod Touches. Looks like one of them is the WWE Champion, but wait… the “W” logo is upside down which I guese it means “M” for Mentalist. Video after the break. Read more…

Hyundai MB 490i Dolphin

This is the Hyundai Dolphin that looks like a dolphin when look from the side. It has a touch phone with metal casing polished to mirror. It comes with Yamaha speakers and 3.2-megapixel camera. No other info released, but with its Yamaha speakers I think that will be a great music phone. The Hyundai MB 490i Dolphin is coming this May at $315.
