Life-sized Bumblebee

One of the Transformers fans has built the 18-feet tall Bumblebee in his front yard. The creation was made made from a real Volkswagen Beetle.
“I’ve always been a fan of the Transformers,” Tom Rhoads Rhoads stated to the crew at mim. “And when my son was born I decided to make the statue.”
During the work, a crane had to hoist the 1200 lb robot onto its feet after the welding was completed. And this life size Bumblebee took him and his friend a year to complete. More pictures after the break.
