This AL15 features a 1.5″ LCD display at 128 x 128 resolution, a brightness level of 150cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 250:1 and connect via USB. Hong Kong-based Hi-Den Vision has announced its HD-0311 which claimed as the world’s smallest HDMI Hi-Def Photo Player. It allows the photos playback on HDTV at up to 1080p HDMI resolution, and its remote control allows user to customize the viewing of the photos. The HD-0311 also play music and video. No word on pricing.

Designer Jasper Hou has come out with the Timer To Light concept. It is an LED light concept that that is based on mechanical energy. Rotate the timer base to crank up the mechanism inside and as it slow unwinds, the stored energy powers the lamp. The device will have a similar ambient effect like candles.
