Toshiba is introducing its new lappie the Satellite P500. It comes with 18.4” LCD available in with 1680 x 945 resolution or Full HD, a Blu-ray recorder, HDMI out, Bluetooth, a selection of different Core 2 Duo, up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM, up to 1TB of HDD, a selection of NVidia GC, a digital TV tuner and more.

“The Satellite P500 comes with a Blu-Ray ReWritable drive1 which supports Blu-Ray ROM. BD-R and BD-RE and DVD SuperMulti DL +/RW, or a slot-loading DVD SuperMulti drive1, together with Resolution+, an algorithm developed by Toshiba to upconvert videos and DVDs with standard definition quality to near high definition level in realtime, with improved edge detail and texture.”
