Sony has announced its BRX-A500, a 500 GB DVR. It comes with a built in digital tuner, HDMI output and can be installed on the rear of specific Bravia LCD TVs. The BRX-A500 has four recording modes and capable recording up to 141 hours of programming in DRL mode. It measures 255×148×52mm and weighs 1.5 kg. Currently in Japan with unknown pricing, not sure if they are going to ship out or not.
