Sharp NetWalker netbook features Touchscreen

Sharp has announced its new little lappie called the NetWakker. It has small 5.0-inch touchscreeen, running on Ubuntu OS and comes with USB, Wi-fi, 4 GB memory, microSD expansion and a battery that has enough juice to last 10 hours. The Sharp NetWalker will be priced around 44,800 Yen ($500), will be available in Japan the end of the month.

It comes with the company’s latest 3LCD display technology which provides a WXGA resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio, 2,500 lumens brightness and up to 5000 hours of lamp life (in economy mode). It also has two 10-watt virtual surround sound speakers, a microphone input, a USB port and an HDMI port. The Epson PowerLite Presenter is going for $899.
