This cool barcodes were created by Japanese artists, turning the stock barcodes into some interesting barcodes. Is that going to work? Check out more after the break.

    Most of these designs are going to work.

    You see, the “one dimension barcode” needs only one horizontal thin reading line for scanners. (yes, the visible “red line”, when you read barcodes with handscanner)

    This means that the machine don’t care, how are the barcodes designed outside this reading line. :) Reading line with enough contrast and enough clear space before and after the barcode is working just fine.

    Of course, wider readable area is easier to read. ;)

    this is soo cool
