TG Sambo has launched a new dual-touchscreen tablet named ‘Averatec PT 1400′ in Korea. The tablet is running on the Windows 7 Home Premium operation system and comes with a 14- and 7-inch touchscreen with LED backlit. It has a suggested price of 1,700,000KRW. ICD (Innovative Converged Device) has announced their new Google Android 2.0-powered touchscreen tablet named Vega. The tablet is powered by an nVidia Tegra processor and comes with 15.6-inch touchscreen display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, a 512MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, WiFi, 3G, and Bluetooth 2.1. Other features include a built-in accelerometer, dual digital microphones, an ambient light sensor and a magnetic dock for charging and syncing the device. The ICD Vega will be launched in 2010. Walky - iPhone Controlled Robot

Yuta Sugiura and his co-mate at the Graduate School of Media Design, Keio University have developed a new robot called Walky. It is controlled using iPhone rather than using some keyboard or traditional controller. Walking, turning, jumping, kicking, and other actions can be performed by the simple finger gestures on the iPhone’s touch screen.

“Walky follows in the finger-steps of their laundry-folding robot and UI system called Foldy.”
