Back in high school, ever class that has numbers always makes me sleepy. What more when the lecturers are dead boring with only a single dead pitch, be it lecturing or nagging. But this dawg McCune has somehow give us a bright ray of hope for our statistic classes, using technology to make it beautiful to learn once more. But then, classes that involves numbers are never interesting to begin with.

Doug McCune has been messing around with methods to present data in a more appealing and graceful face. Somehow in the process, he created Mount Prostitute. Well boys and girls, let the pictures show you how its done, the ‘cool’ way.

This is the 3D representation of the distribution of prostitution in San Francisco, in 2009.

Besides prostitution, several crimes has also been remodeled for the ‘fun’. Larsery, Narcotics, Assault, Vandalism, Warrants, Vehicle Theft, and Robbery. All this dataset are based on the numbers of arrests made in San Francisco. A very interesting study made.
