What happen when you take away a keyboard from a notebook, and replace it with a touchscreen display? It turned into a dual-screen iPad-like notebook, with too much obsession for touchscreen. But seriously, it looked sleek.

Sporting two 7-inch touchscreen, you can drag-and-drop applications from a screen to another, and edit it using photo-editing software. Multitouch functions also seemed to function well. Users can also rotate the direction of both screens. The lower screen functions as a virtual keyboard and soft pad besides being an alternative screen.

The Libretto is powered by Intel® Pentium™ processor, though the speed is not mention. Pentium processors seemed to be rather old; I wonder why Intel hasn’t produce something new to replace it, with lower manufacturing process and better battery life. The Libretto also uses SSD drives, though the capacity is rather small. Connections are rather standard these days, with 802.11n and Bluetooth v2.1. Though, the Libretto is rather skimpy on USB port, with only 1 available. It comes with Windows 7 Home Premium, which is a good thing. Luckily they don’t come with Starter version. When it comes to weight, this baby is amazing, as it only weights 2 pounds!

Oh yeah, by the way, don’t you feel that the Libretto resembles something like the Microsoft Courier that has been cancelled?

Yep, the courier is the first thing that came to mind when I saw that.
