The Home Energy Management (HEM) solution offers updated energy and budgeting information to assist users in optimizing the usage of electricity at home. With the HEM, users will have the visibility of the household energy usage and control how energy is utilized.

Users can interact with the 7-inch, (800 x 480 resolution) display that supports capacitive touch. The HEM runs on Ubuntu Linux for MID, and is powered by a 1.1GHz Intel Atom chip. What’s more, there’s Ethernet port and 802.11n Wi-Fi connection for connectivity to electronic devices that has networking connectivity. With it, users can view and control information on thermostats, intelligent sockets and power strips, and smart appliances such as refrigerators and water heaters.
