Something that came out just in time for the market. The so called stylish 3D glasses for kids. RealD was hoping to sell this 3D black glasses aiming at the younger generations, but if you have a small head, you can have a go too. Next time you can showoff your own 3D glasses instead of the bulky and blurry 3D glasses from the Cineplex. Let’s wear this to watch Toy Story 3!
Sony unveils new member for their Xperia series lineup. The X8, codename Shakira (no, not the one that’s in Africa right now) is the new member of Sony’s smartphone series. Its 3-inch wide, and runs on Android 1.6, with obvious customizations to its interface, for example Sony’s own Timescape and Mediascape. The UI seemed to be from the same class of X10 Mini.
Remember when Tony Stark was talking to his intelligent computer in Iron Man and Iron Man 2? The digital computer voice that at times gives Tony Stark a good quarrel in a conversation, though barely. Sometimes when thinking logically, voice recognition has always been a big problem in talking to a computer, what more to say to build a computer intelligent enough to talk back in a split second with nearly no loading time. The computer had to be a supercomputer with insane computing power. Now somebody actually made a computer that can talk “intelligently” with humans. Read more…
The iPhone 4 madness has started, and the figures pawned any sales record of Apple as to date. 600,000 units of iPhones were reserved in 1 day, and that’s just pre-ordering, not launching. We’re talking about skipping numbers in regards to AT&T’s servers melting due to overload network of orders, making AT&T suspending the pre-orders half way around noon. Imagine the numbers if the orders can go through with no glitch.
AT&T was serving up 13 million eligibility checks on the pre-order day, besides orders coming from Apple’s server, and Best buy’s servers too. That’s 3 times more than the previous launch. And that’s only AT&T, no other carriers, not including pre-orders from other countries. Imagine if Verizon gets a slice of the cake, and there’s no hiccup from AT&T’s systems during pre-order day, and let’s add some figures from foreign carriers. The numbers would have been so mind bogging that it put droids to shame.
Here’s yet another update from Apple on the software side. Apple has officially released the iTunes 9.2 to cope with iPhone 4 and iOS 4. Besides those, it also comes with some glitch fixes and support for PDF and stuff.

But while I’m daydreaming of such crazy things, some really crazy peeps actually go and do the do. I mean like, wtf? The geeks over at ifixit.com actually dissect the new Mac Mini! Head over there and have a look for youself!
Hey guys, I got one 16GB Wifi + 3G Apple iPad and a Android powered Apad tablet. So let’s take a look at both of them. In the pictures you will see that the Apad is much smaller than the iPad. As for me, Apad is not even 10% of iPad, that’s why it is cheap. But Apad it is good enough to be a media player. But if they can improve it, that’s quite a good device. More pictures after the break. Read more…
Audi, the makers of the godlike R8 V10 that I can only dream of owning, is in the funky Einstein lab again. They have been setting standards for in-car audio systems with collaborations from premium audio companies like Bang & Olufsen and Bose. The engineers have been tinkering some magic yet again, with the Audi Sound Concept, which they hope will bring “wave field synthesis” to the ICE (In Car Entertainment) world. How crazy does putting 62 speakers into a mammoth Audi Q7 sounds to you? Read more…
Though shaping and play style is still as old school as ever, Nintendo is somehow following the trend of 3D, with their gem called the Nintendo 3DS. Yes, as the name said, you get to play 3D games on this new handheld. Following the success of the Game Boy, and Game Boy Advance, and the last DS, the 3DS still looks like a brick. But when its covered up, it looks like Nokia’s old communicator. Read more…
