Looking at the picture above, that projector from Samsung looks kinda dull. But then, the looks might be deceiving though. That is Samsung’s latest projector SP-H03, and it’s a pico projector. Yes, it is very, very small. Watch the video after the jump and you’ll know what I mean. Read more…
Now who said that video games have the tendency to create violence among kids? This Norwegian kid saved his sister’s life from an amok moose heading her way, all thanks to his skills where he learned from playing Blizzard’s mmorpg World of Warcraft. The news might be slowpoke, but still a good read to deceive yourself and others that gaming can increase our survival’s rate. I wonder did he use a distracting shot for the taunt or not.
Hans and his sister got into trouble after they had trespassed the territory of the moose during a walk in the forest near their home. When the moose attacked them, Hans knew the first thing he had to do was ‘taunt’ and provoke the animal so that it would leave his sister alone and she could run to safety. ‘Taunting’ is a move one uses in World of Warcraft to get monsters off of the less-well-armored team members.
Once Hans was a target, he remembered another skill he had picked up at level 30 in ‘World of Warcraft’ – he feigned death. The moose lost interest in the inanimate boy and wandered off into the woods. When he was safely alone Hans ran back home to share his tale of video game-inspired survival.
As the World Cup comes nearer, Sony has finally mingled into the 3DTV market previously dominated by Samsung and Panasonic. As there are around 25 matches that will be broadcasted in 3D, it seemed like a good time for Sony to finally penetrate this rather skeptical market.
Google has once again given us more fun factors while browsing the Internet. Now you can customize your Google search page by adding a personal background picture in it. If you do not have any, then you can choose from a small range of pictures from Google courtesy of other users that uploaded it. But you must login to your Google account before you can have your search page customized. A pretty nifty idea from Google, though it could be done quite some time ago.
Floating half orbs with deem blue lights, Pandora age design, and a row of touch-sensitive menus. For a moment there, I thought those orbs might fly, and the station can hover around with build-in laser-beams coming out of hidden holes around their titanium-like band. But then, all that they could do is sing! How irony! For a moment there I thought they’re from Mars, made by the EF-SF (Earth Federation – Space Force in Gundam’s universe) research lab.
