AMG joining the electric supercar rally behind Porsche and Audi with the E-Cell Prototype

Mercedes-Benz is keen to join the electric sports car market with their new E-Cell prototype. Just like how Audi transformed their R8 into an E-Tron prototype, and Porsche’s ‘already-in-production’ hybrid Spyder 918, the AMG team has thrown in some massive electric power plant into their gull-wing supercar, that is comparable with its fuel-guzzling petrol version of 6.2-liter 563hp V8 engine.

After going bankrupt after the ESWC 2008, ESWC group (Electronic Sports World Cup) is ready to go for the gold again, with 7 games, and 32 countries fighting for a piece of the grand total of $213,500 prize money. The fun-fest will be held from 1st to 4th of July.

All the noise for the iOS 4, yet no love for the iBooks app? Apple has released the iBooks app version 1.1 in the iTunes app store alongside the release of iOS 4 this morning. The iBooks app is now available for iPhone and iPod touch, in addition to the iPad.
