8-bit pixel costume looks like “Squeeze” Guy.

The creativity of Kiel Johnson and Klai Brown surely has gone wild, but with great success. The cool 8-bit costume is made for a Toshiba commercial, and he’s called Gary. They’re made of “large pixels” from sheets of high density foam glued together into what Kiel called “an articulated cardboard suit structure”.

I think I cut around 4000 pixels. Not all used for Gary… we are building two more characters for a video project.” He’s posted a posted a slew of terrific images from the build and commercial shoot.


Somehow this blue shirt pixilated dude reminds me of someone, but I just can’t remember who.
