Zagg has a solution for your iPhone 4 antenna issue

July 21st, 2010

It seemed the antenna issue of the iPhone 4 is getting at the nerves of many. So it’s not a surprise that the folks at Zagg come up with something to resolve the issue.

Using a straightforward data package transfer from the command prompt, the packets transfer vigorously when the antenna spot is not covered, and it stopped once it’s touched. When the touch leaves, the transfer continues. Seemed like an effective method to show the antenna issue.

By using their famous invisibleSHIELD clear sticker, the data transfer continue despite the finger touching the ‘sensitive’ part. Seemed like they solved the issue.

The folks at Zagg—they make the very popular invisibleSHIELD clear sticker-screens for smartphones—just tested to see if their iPhone 4 model works to alleviate antenna issues. Spoiler: It does!

You can get a side-only version of the invisibleSHIELD for just $10, which is a pretty attired solution to the antenna issue, seeing as the shield is clear and fairly unobtrusive. A full front and back solution will cost you $25. Or, you can get a vinyl one with designs on it.

Cool! I wonder why apple couldn’t come up with that! Oh yeah right, less profit compared to the bumper they came up with.
