Apple to provide iPad engraving soon?
It is understood that Apple is having some ‘short supply’ problem for the iPad as IPS panel manufacturers can’t keep up with the demand of the iPad. But it has always been Apple’s tradition to provide customization for their products. That’s why Erectric Report has the rumor that Apple’s planning to provide engraving service for their hugely successful iPad soon, as soon as the supplies can reach the worldwide demand. The reason why I love Apple products is because of the beauty and soul that they put into their products, though I don’t really like them overcharging customers for the glowing fruit logo. Well never mind that, just stay tune and wait for Apple to finally provide personal engraving to their iPad.
Apple initially launched iPod engraving with the original 10 GB iPod in March 2002. Engraving was initially priced at $49, but was made free and extended across the company’s expanding iPod line in subsequent years.
