LG may not be a name that you would think of when buying a notebook, but they do manufactures notebooks. Now they’re launching their latest netbook named X140. The spec of netbook has been raised slightly from previous generations, but I can safely say that all notebook manufacturers have identical netbook specs, as if it is controlled by Intel or an OEM-mainboard manufacturer. Somehow I suspect that Asus is the one making OEM reference model for netbooks’ mainboard. Anyway, back to topic.
It is understood that Apple is having some ‘short supply’ problem for the iPad as IPS panel manufacturers can’t keep up with the demand of the iPad. But it has always been Apple’s tradition to provide customization for their products. That’s why Erectric Report has the rumor that Apple’s planning to provide engraving service for their hugely successful iPad soon, as soon as the supplies can reach the worldwide demand. The reason why I love Apple products is because of the beauty and soul that they put into their products, though I don’t really like them overcharging customers for the glowing fruit logo. Well never mind that, just stay tune and wait for Apple to finally provide personal engraving to their iPad.
Apple initially launched iPod engraving with the original 10 GB iPod in March 2002. Engraving was initially priced at $49, but was made free and extended across the company’s expanding iPod line in subsequent years.
Yes nowadays youngster cares so much for their hairstyle, that they worry even the slightest wind would slightly twist their hair’s angle by 10. This reminds me of one of my friend who would check on his hair on the window of the shops, or mirror at anywhere we go, and goes to toilet every one hour when he’s working, just to check on his hair. They would hate to wear huge full-size headphones out to the public because the headphones messed with their hair. But now, famous audio product maker Audio-Technica has solved that problem, with two new models. One for those with hair and one for those without hair.
Rumors has it that Apple has finish furbishing their Snow Leopard’s fifth maintenance release, the Mac OS X 10.6.5, and is ready for beta testing by third-party developers. When will it begin, and how long will the testing duration be, is totally up to our wildest guess, but wind has it that developers might see it as early as this week, so it should be any time now.
Remember Tom Cruise waving his hands and interacting with an uber cool interface in Minority Report? Well that cool stuff is getting nearer to our technology. This is yet another prototype seen in Hitachi’s exhibition during their 100th anniversary event. The system is still inaccurate and very much laggy, but it’s still a big leap for us. Check out the video!

This comes as a total surprise for many, but somehow someone managed to found an Easter Egg in YouTube’s video. While the video’s loading, the spinning dots will turn to a game of Snake if you use your keyboard’s cursor key and press any key while it’s loading. For those new kids, Snake is a game that I played back when I’m still using my Nokia 8210. Move your snake around the screen and gobble up pellets, which will increase your length as you do, but try to avoid hitting the edges and your own tail. The game can be played either while it’s loading, or even when the video finished playing. Enjoy!

I’m sure many of you have played with Legos when you’re still a toddler crawling around your house like a king. However, over the years, they tend to gone missing (like mine) or turn yellowish. This is due to a fire retardant in the plastic material Legos are made from; therefore they have a tendency to turn yellow quite a bit over time.
But now, a blogger called Smitty has found a way to properly remove the yellowish color and turn them back to their original white color. All you need are some hydrogen peroxide, glycerine, vegetable gum, and OxiClean. With these items, you can create a gel that will turn the color back after tanning the Lego that is covered with the gel under the sun for few days. Head over to the original blog for the step-by-step instructions.
