Get ready to embrace a revolution in Tab Technology

July 24th, 2010

Firefox is already hard at work to change the way we use tabs for our browsers. They’ve come up with a new funky way to work around tabs, called Tab Candy, for those who switch between say, 50 tabs in their browsers? Let’s check how it worked in the video above.

Tab Candy is still in alpha testing, and the developers are still trying to optimize the design for daily use, and to improve the performance so that it won’t be a memory hogger. Tab Candy is actually available for you to test now, but that’s strictly for super-early adopters, as it’s still a beta for public.

Apple’s white iPhone 4 delayed yet again, to “later this year”.

Yet again, the lovely and sexy white iPhone 4 has been delayed. But this time, instead of giving a clear indication of the time, Apple has pushed back the white iPhone 4 further this time, with an estimation of “later this year”. Ouch! Well looks like the saga of the white knight still continues on without any glimpse. Well Apple better fix the “antennagate” issue while they’re at it! Anyway, it’s a good news that Apple finally decided not to rush their products, and perhaps exchange it for a quality product?

This silent eagle will help cool your pc yet being quiet.

This silent eagle will help cool your pc yet being quiet.

This fan would surely be a great seller to case modders. The new Sharkoon Silent Eagle PC Fan looks to challenge those fans from AC Ryan and Silverstone. It features a black plastic frame with a white plastic fan, a very typical design except for those missing bling-bling neon lights.

But the Sharkoon PC Fan omits the bling-bling and goes for performance instead. Spinning at 800 rpm, it can achieve 93.85 CFM and yet only produces 12.4 decibels (db) of sound, hence the name. However, PC fan manufacturers always tend to give great figures and yet underperform, so I’ll reserve my excitement for the moment. Well you can always seek after it and test it for yourself, as it only cost $17 each.

Lexar’s 128GB thumb drive backup your files swiftly

This comes as a thumb drive that might cost you your limb. Lexar has refreshed their Echo SE flash drive lineup with a whooping 128GB edition. But unlike your typical Kingston flash drive, this Echo drive continuously backup your computer’s files without needing activation. The build-in software will automatically sync all your important in-use files into the thumb drive, and it works on both Windows and Macintosh platform. But then, this amazing auto-backup thumb drive will cost you literally $349.99. Yeah, that’s a lot to back up your files without needing a single activation button. But if you really need such ‘genius’ service, then be my guess, and head over to Amazon or Newegg and grab one. Just don’t go and sell your limb while you’re at it.
