Huawei, the famous name when it comes to 3G USB modems, is releasing a new mobile hotspot device, named the E583c. Available in both silver and black colour scheme, the device sports a 1-inch OLED display panel that shows you status information about the network. This E583c Mobile Hotspot can support up to 3.5G HSPA connection, with up to five devices linked over Wi-Fi and a sixth via a direct USB connection if you needed that many. It’s compatible with nearly every platform out there, Microsoft’s Windows, Apple’s Mac OSX, and Linux. Additional features include a microSD card slot with support up to 32GB. The Huawei E583c will be available in Hong Kong later this month for HK$1,380 (US$177).
