iRiver Story Touch Edition is your reading material?

It’s been awhile since I heard about iRiver. Now this Mp3-player company is joining the growing e-Book Reader market with their Story Touch Edition. Measuring at 126mm x 162.8mm x 9.5mm, the upcoming e-book reader will feature a 6-inch e-ink touchscreen display. Not fancy, but enough to give you a good reading experience. The size is just nice for big pockets. The internal 2GB of memory should be sufficient for some light reading materials, but if they aren’t you can always expand the storage via an SDHC memory card.

The Story Touch Edition support ePub, PDF, TXT, FB2, DJVU, and CBZ format e-books. In addition it also supports DOC, PPT, XLS and HWP Office files. No .docx for you though. There’s a microphone built-in if you need voice recording functions, or decided to record your own singing while you read, and listen back to your ‘aw so sweet’ voice as the e-Book Reader supports MP3, WMA, and OGG files too! Sadly there’s no pricing at this moment.
