Logitech MK520 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo

This is Logitech’s new low-profile keyboard, positioned above the MK250. Low profile, yet there are many ninjas around. The keyboard has additional media controls, besides the unique 128-bit AES keyboard encryption that’s new to keyboards. The keyboard also has a battery life of up to an amazing three years.
For the mouse, it’s an ambidextrous laser mouse which means suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users. The laser mouse has a battery lifespan of one-year, which is rather typical by Logitech’s standard. I’ve seen a number of Logitech’s wireless mice having ‘One-year’ battery life, which is very amazing indeed. Few wireless mice that I’ve tried can only last around three to six months.
Both the MK520 keyboard and mouse are connected to a computer through Logitech’s famous ‘nano size’ 2.4GHz Unifying Receiver, which can stay in a notebook when on the move, or in a desktop PC. However there’s no mention of the maximum distance that it can receive the signal. The Wireless Combo MK520 retails for $60, and should be available right now at your nearest Logitech store.
