Thermaltake might be famous for their funky CPU coolers, but their ‘eSPORTS’ sibling is also making a name in the professional gaming gear world. Now they’ve yet announced a new product for professional gamers worldwide. At Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, Tt eSPORTS unveiled their latest gaming keyboard, the MEKA G1 mechanical keyboard. With the term ‘mechanical’ you’re sure to know that this is no ordinary Razer-like keyboard with fancy blings and macros.

The new MEKA G1 keyboard sports 1,000Hz polling rate and faster response time compared to traditional keyboard. As it’s a mechanical keyboard, you’re guaranteed a solid gaming experience with heavy duty performance and blazingly fast response. It also has anti-ghosting feature, one of the uniqueness of mechanical keyboards. Other than that, there’s nothing much to see. Well that’s what you can expect from a mechanical keyboard. Though I have to admit; it lacks any catching features that will attract young gamers, a problem for many mechanical keyboards out there. It comes with full speed USB design, but you’re also given PS2 adapters for N key rollover function. Well how thoughtful.
