Transparent Universal Translator Concept

Rachel Ilan Simpson has designed the Transparent Universal Translator concept that allows users to have a better understanding of the world around them, which is essentially very convenient for travellers.
The gadget provides three modes including the Window mode, Text mode and Speech mode. In the Window mode, you can point a transparent piece of plastic display to an object, and a database of information will identify it. Meanwhile, the Text mode translates signs, papers, or any other lettered material. And finally, the Speech mode translates the spoken word in real time.

How big is the database, and how accurate does it work, is still not demonstrated, yet since it’s still a concept. However, if this really goes gold, it’ll surely be a big heat. But it surely can’t replace the translators hired by the Senators, yet.
