HP’s webOS tablet unofficially confirmed for ‘early 2011’ release.

Here’s what HP’s Todd Bradley has to say while commenting on the company’s Q3 2010 earnings call: “You’ll see us with a Microsoft product out in the near future and a webOS-based product in early 2011,” he told investors and analysts in response to a direct question about tablets, adding that “potential slates were part of the reason HP bought Palm in the first place”. Sound like Mr Todd here is fairly confident that the company will deliver their tablets, since he’s promising the shareholders in such a bold statement.

Codemaster’s wet race too realistic for us simpletons

From the peeps who brought us the DiRT game, and Burnout, it’s rather sad that Codemasters’ F1 2010 doesn’t appear to be getting the same kind of press as Gran Turismo 5 or even DiRT 3, but a recently released in-game video could change that. The upcoming Formula 1 game is scheduled to hit stores in September, complete with damn-near photo-realistic gaming action that has us drooling. And we’re not talking about those fanciful panning, aerial beauty shots that you see in some of the theatrical-looking promos for games. This is actual in-car, live racing footage. In the rain, boy, in the rain! Hit the jump to experience F1 2010 from the virtual cockpit of a Mercedes-Benz Formula 1 car.

Dot watch is very LED-ed.

Over here at 2dayblog.com, we love watches, especially those funky cool watches that looked high-tech yet adorable, or at least not confusing. I personally dislike watches that needs me 5 minutes to think what the time that is being shown is. This watch here however is high-tech yet suitable for simpletons like me. Designed by Damian Kozlik, the Dot is a sleek and elegant wristwatch that looks more like a trendy bracelet than a timepiece. Based on LED technology, the stylish watch features extruded buttons to organize time or date on its LED display. The Dot is also lightweight thanks to the perforated casing. Too bad, it is only a concept so far. It’ll be a very fine looking accessory to my wrist.

Nokia C7 seen in wild with quality pictahs!

Nokia World might be coming next month, but it seemed that some people had been getting early access to what seemed to be a new model that Nokia would be launching in their event. The C7 has been spinning around the web for quite some time now, but Nokia has never made any statement regarding this 3.5-inch touchscreen beauty. But when a tech web from China called zol.com.cn published a ‘press-quality’ photo shot next to a Chivas Regal nip, it’s hard not to think that this gadget here is the real deal.

The C7 is Nokia’s smartphone running on their new Symbian^3 OS, and of kush there’s the 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display. Besides that, it has an 8-Megapixel camera sans Carl Zeiss, dual ELD flash, and a somewhat stingy 1,200 mAH battery to match its slim and sexy body. Well, just a month’s time to wait, so why not?

G-Drive trying hard to court Apple fans

We don’t find many Apple-themed products out there, and when we come by one, we all gaze in amazement. The G-DRIVE mini hard drive is the perfect storage solutions for people on the go, and is designed similarly like the Mac Pro. Weighing at less than 9 oz., the storage device provides up to 500GB of storage space to store your important documents, MP3s, digital video and digital photo files. What’s more, the system can also withstand up to 1000 G’s of shock to ensure your data is protected against the bumps and bruises encountered on the road. Talk about extreme measures on the design. The 500GB G-DRIVE mini hard drive (7200RPM) is priced at $169.99, and should look rather handsome beside your Mac Pro or iMac.
