Dance dance like it's the last night of your life, and showoff your LED!!!

August 26th, 2010

Surely you’ve seen many digital equalizers dancing to the beat on a black shirt while you’re clubbing, but have you see one that can be customized by a specific iPhone? The video that you see above, is a jacket with embedded LED on it, that is linked to an app on an iPhone. How did the app pass Apple’s strict iTunes App Store really beats me, but they say that you’ll be the coolest guy in the upcoming rave party as this jacket’s coming in fall of this year.

Now, what if somebody hacked the software, and controlled the display of another dood wearing the outfit? Imagine changing the display to show “I’m a douche! Yeah!” onto the back of the other dood. New sweet meaning to hacking indeed.

A robot that will help you put on your socks, and some other things too…

August 26th, 2010

Here we have a PR2 robot ‘trained’ to help you put on your socks during the morning rush hours, while you panic-ly gulp down your breakfast before dashing into your car. But please, don’t let the video fool you. It’s been fast forward, like 15x! What’s more, the robot seemed to be more efficient in helping you accomplish ‘other missions’ instead of wearing your socks. Like, how hard is putting up socks? Damn, the world where obese people sitting on hovering chairs (remember Wall-E?) are getting nearer day by day.

Samsung Galaxy S gets a handsome Power Pack

If ‘removing-the-back-cover-take-out-the-battery-plung-in-another-push-back-back-cover’ gets too complicated for some users when their Samsung Galaxy S (or any of the wide varieties) gets dry up, Samsung has yet another accessory for you. The Samsung Galaxy S Power Pack. This power pack will sincerely allow additional 8.5 hours of talk time when you run out of juice while gossiping with your BFFs. Yeah, it’s such an annoyance to remove the battery when you’re on the phone. That’s why this power pack is ‘so’ convenient. What’s more, you’re getting an additional GPS radio. Geddit? Additional GPS radio! Woohoo! Someone in Samsung must’ve smoked too much weeds.

Toyota will make your Prius moan scarily…t

After years and years of doing the whole shebang in their supremacy to make cars as quiet as a dead fish, it seems somewhat backwards that we’re now talking about adding external speakers to hybrids in order to make them… louder. But that’s the current reality, and Toyota, the undisputed worldwide leader in hybrid vehicles (yeah Chevy your Volt is yet to be impressive), is leading the way in Japan with its Prius hatchback. MSI’s latest FX-series will go through tough roads and tunnels with you, almost…

MSI have added yet another new notebook to their seemingly endless arsenal of extremely crowded and bloated sub-RM3k ($1k) market offerings with the introduction of the MSI FX400. Wrapped in what MSI calls a “new raised totem seal coating” that’s supposed to keep scratching and smudging to a minimum, the FX400 is bestowed with an Intel Core i5 processor, an Nvidia GeForce GT325M discrete graphics card (1GB memory) to make sure you’ll have no problems in handling graphical-demanding applications, Turbo Drive Engine technology, GPU Boost technology, and “cinema-class” audio (whatever that means).
