iPad light painting adds geeky bling to your boring real-world space

Seriously, the iPhone and iPad is a great device only because of the apps. It’s the apps that made them cool to use, and there’re lots of serious contenders for the killer app that’ll make the iPad and iPhone shine out among the crowd. What we see here, is an app related to light extrusion.

Dentsu London has paired accelerometer-based software with long exposure/stop-motion photographs to take 3D renderings into real space, with a result that reminds us of the Graffiti Research Lab. Sure, you could do this on an iPod touch, but it’s that real-world iPad bigness that makes it awesome – one of those moments that makes you sit back and say dang, future, you’re here! Makes you feel satisfied once again about buying that overpriced and under-spec iPad.

“Over priced – under specked” that is a matter of opinion, one I don’t agree with, and don’t know many iPad users who do.

Price wise it was expected to start at 1000 dollars, everyone speculated that 1k would be the entry level price. When Apple came out with it at such low prices, with the top model being well under 1k, everyone bitched that it was too expensive. Don’t understand people, you just cant satisfy them. Particularly if they want to crap all over apple.
