AMD’s Eyefinity technology has been awesome in its way. With the new Eyefinity technology, you can now play your favourite racing games or First Person Shooter games with an amazing three or six monitors’ setup that’ll be a very jaw dropping for some people, like me. However, Eyefinity has never been cheap to setup. Buying additional three or six monitors is already putting on a strain for some people with budgets. What’s more, you can only run it on monitors that have DisplayPort, which even some current models lack. Your solution? Buying $100 ‘DisplayPort-to-DVI’ adapters that will slaughter your wallet. Erica Sadun of TUAW has, for some unknown reason, been sniffing around the codes for the internal settings property list of the new Apple iPod Nano. What might be some clumsy ‘forgotten to delete’ or excess/leftover code has given the slightest possible hint of video playback capability for the ‘now touchscreen-ed’ iPod Nano. That includes options for things like TV subtitles, captions and alternate audio, and even a fit-to-screen option — for the perfectly square aspect ratio of the nano’s screen, perhaps? Then again, I’m already reluctant to watch videos on a 3-inch display, what’s more on a 1.5-inch screen. Who cares what type of content it has. A banana will look like a peanut in there.

Qualcomm has announced that their 1.5 GHz dual-core QSD8672 Snapdragon processor will ship to manufacturers by the end of this year, but it is unlikely that devices powered by this mysterious chip will come that soon. Qualcomm predict the arrival of these devices powered by this dual-core petite nuclear reactor will only drop from the sky at the end of next year! You’ll still get it in Christmas time, no difference. But the only difference is the year. Big bummer. On the bright side, thought, the less powerful 1.2 GHz dual-core MSM8x60 chipset will probably drop to your paws by early next year.
