ASRock to release new motherboard with USB 3.0 at the front. FRONT!

We’ve seen plenty of manufacturers releasing motherboards with USB 3.0 support, and that’s amazing. But the thing is, you’ll need to sprain your backbone in order to use those ‘usually two ports only’ USB 3.0 ports. What a boner right? But now, ASRock has finally understood your fragile backbone’s whining, and is the first company to move those speedy holes to the front. TO THE FRONT!

Logic wise was that if nobody could agree on an industry standard, proprietary standards developed by various large-scale system builders would damage the custom-built and small reseller market. Tom’s hardware was told how it might be difficult to get any new connector standardized quickly by the USB-IF as they asked manufacturers why it isn’t implemented.

ASRock was the first to implement such connector that, according to Tom’s our sources at the firm, was an Intel design still pending approval. Regardless of who developed the connector, ASRock was the first to implement it, and thus we shall applaud them and salute. Head over to Tom’s site for the review.
