Razer's special edition Naga Maelstrom and Molten mice makes you can’t play games

I’ve never like the Razer Naga that somehow ‘caused every MMO addict in existence to salivate uncontrollably’. I’ve held it, and used it few times, and I’ve never find the perfect way to hold it without having cramp on my hand. Now, Razer has gone and creates special editions of this button-fest mouse, a new duo of special ‘Naga’.

“After the phenomenal response we received for the Razer Naga, we’ve decided to create two collectible versions to offer our fans even more ways to dominate their game,” said Robert “Razer Guy” Krakoff, president, Razer USA. “We took the same functionality of full button remapping and macro capabilities of the original Razer Naga and rejuvenated the aesthetic design for a more immersive MMO gaming experience.”

The Naga Maelstrom and Naga Molten are undistinguishable to the original in terms of functionality, but there’s a decent chance you’ll want to lift your palm from the surface of these a lot more frequently. Both units are graced with special edition lids, and somehow still feature 17 “MMO-optimized” buttons while adding a touch of glow underneath. Both models are slated to ship worldwide next month, with pricing set for $79.99 / €79.99, which is the same price as the original ‘Naga’.
