LG’s Windows Phone 7 models at a glance

We can see two models from LG at the moment, as there’s another slide-up QWERTY model from LG named GW910. So you get either the entertainment set, which is the Optimus 7, or a more working type Quantum, but less of the bells and whistles. Let’s check them out.

LG Optimus 7 (or E900) – 1GHz processor (no mention of what processor this is, but should be the same as the Quantum), 3.8-inch LCD screen with 480 x 800 resolution, 16GB internal storage, and 5-Megapixel camera with LED flash. No mention of Auto Focus though. This should be LG’s major Windows Phone 7 model, as you can get them from Telus (Canada), América Móvil (Mexico), Movistar (Spain), Vodafone (Germany, Italy, Spain and UK), SingTel (Singapore).

LG Quantum (or Optimus 7Q or C900) – 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8650 (which is different from HTC’s choice), 3.5-inch screen with 480 x 800 resolution, 16GB internal storage, and 5-Megapixel with 720P recording capability. No mention of flash and Auto Focus. Design wise, is a push-up QWERTY keyboard, much like HTC’s 7 Pro, but the 7 Pro bends a little when being pushed up to show the QWERTY keyboard. It’s coming only to AT&T (US) and Telstra (Australia).
