Google Tracks Your Eyes When Testing its Designs

This is one funny thing how Google test its features and products, and leads to the introduction of Google Instant. Google is famous for being such an innovative company, and despite its search engine being the most widely used, they never stop to improve it to another higher level of user experience. In order to add new features to their search engine, they went as far as tracking your eyes to see where the attention goes to on Google’s search engine page.
What you see above is a line tracing the path that the eyes take when hitting Google. Yes, that’s after you’ve entered your query item. The large red dot is where the user was currently looking at when the screenshot was taken. So you see, your eye is expecting results at the lower part once you hit ‘ENTER’. Google knew that, and they introduce Google Instant because your eyes focus on that part. Smart isn’t it?
