This is obviously the direct result of the paten-infringement lawsuit that Apple throws over at Sanho regarding their unlicensed use of Apple’s MagSafe power connector.

Apparently Sanho Corporation stated that they’re “in middle of license negotiations with Apple and ceasing the sale of the MagSafe cables was a perquisite for negotiations to go on.” So there is still hope for a legal solution to this mess, and your need for additional juice might see the day of light, but not that soon.
