No Gran Turismo 5 in your Christmas socks this time?

Gran Turismo 5 continues to tease while enraging all gamers worldwide, for that one day when we can drive the Red Bull X1 Prototype around with our controller. The game was supposed to be released on November 2nd, but an announcement on the US Playstation blog said it was pushed back… again. The only clue to the new release date was that it would be available this holiday season. What does that mean exactly? Cancel your New Year party and camp outside the game shop for the game during New Year Eve, or after, or before. We weren’t sure. Even some of the e-tailers weren’t sure too!

Amazon lists the game for a New Year Eve release, whereas Gamestop stated that it’s going to be available on New Year Day. Best Buy has a release date for the 2nd day of 2011. This is all a mess! It’s so messed up, that even Wal-Mart removed the release date altogether. Have your fingers crossed that Polyphony wont’ decide to push it back to next year’s Christmas Eve!

Welcome to 10 days ago, ass.
And about dates given by shops:
A release date that comes from a shop, a shop’s website, a shop employee or anything to do with a shop is not the release date unless there’s a fluke coincidence.
The release date that comes from SCE or Polyphony Digital themselves is the actual, albeit projected, release date.

    Your blog stinks.

thank you. :) but you can’t get the game itself directly from Polyphony Digital can you?

and I don’t see the e-tailers listed by me as a fluke, as they seemed to be rather legit sites. since Polyphony Digital didn’t release any official dates anymore, the dates given by these websites are the closest bet.
