A routine flight in the Democratic Republic of Congo turned deadly when a crocodile escaped from a passenger’s duffle bag. According to the flight’s sole human survivor, panicking passengers fled into the cockpit and caused the pilot to lose control.
The first reports of the crash speculated that the plane had run out of fuel and “couldn’t make a proper landing,” but the ostensible truth is far more inexplicable. It seems that one of the private flight’s passengers was smuggling a crocodile in his carry-on and lost track of the animal. The terrified air hostess hurried towards the cockpit, followed by the passengers. The plane then became unstable, despite the desperate efforts of the pilot. Well, you could guess the result of that. Read more…

Obviously, the naughty hands over at iFixit rushed to get hold of the MacBook Air that was just launched. But somehow, they find it pretty frustrating, though not that hard still, to open up the new ‘Air’. Here’s the highlight given by iFixit:
- The flip-open port door has been scrapped and the IR sensor and sleep LED are gone. In exchange, the new model manages to fit an extra USB 2.0 port along its right edge.
- Apple apparently doesn’t want you inside this thing. They decided to use proprietary 5-point security Torx screws to attach the lower case. Once inside, the Air is held together with more normal 6-point T5 and T8 Torx screws.
- The battery is comprised of six individual lithium-polymer cells, which combine to form a 35 Watt-hour battery.
- Although in a different form factor, the new MacBook Air uses the same Broadcom BCM943224 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip as the current lineup of MacBook Pros.
- The back of the trackpad has a Broadcom BCM5976A0K chip on it, likely responsible for the multi-touch capabilities of the the trackpad.
- The 11.6″ MacBook Air features a resolution of 1366×768. That’s a few more pixels and noticeably more widescreen (16×9 vs 16×10) than the 1280×800 resolution of previous Air models. In a welcome improvement, Apple has substantially enhanced the rigidity of the display assembly.

Hi ladies, are you afraid of saggy breasts? They may look good with a good bra, but once you let go of the bra, they somehow look rather awfully sad, right? Don’t worry, as someone has a solution for you! And all the magic is done with a plastic cylinder! Just slip the Kush in your cleavage before you wander off to slumberland, and you wake up with immaculate boobs. Or so the makers claim. Read more…
Inception is a great movie, but only if you don’t go and think too much. Cause we aren’t smart enough, like this lady.

Lately there have been many people that I know keeping exotic dogs as pets. Somehow the dogs’ life seemed better than mine at times. Now I’ve got an answer. The US security gun, or war command center, Pentagon, spends $19 billion only to discover that the best bomb-detector is the ‘man’s best friend’. Yes, all those drones with super high-tech metal detectors or chemical sniffers, and super x-ray lens can all just go down the drain. Read more…

Yes, the Wii Remote Plus is a simple bundle that adds that MotionPlus into your typical Wiimote, but they’re doing it fair as it’s only priced at $39.99. You surely won’t miss it, as it’s packed in a super bright crimson red package. Might be the influence of that New Super Mario Bros included in the bundle. Regardless, that’ll be $199, and that new, 25th Anniversary red DSi XL bundle Nintendo announced last month is official too, costing $179. All three launch in just a couple weeks, on November 7, so get ready to ditch those dongles.

The slightly dated 16:10 monitors have been missing in the market ever since everyone got hyped up by HD resolutions and HDMI in their monitors. But now, Samsung is back to give you a 16:10 monitor. It’s like jumping back one generation. Time machine anyone? But then there’s the presence of DisplayPort, so you can’t really say you’re going backward. Read more…

Not a shocker, but a very big welcome indeed. Since both Android and Google TV comes from the big daddy G-man Google, we’d expect them to have both siblings able to communicate with each other. Logitech may have its own set of accessories for its Revue Google TV box, but having your existing Android phone to control your future Google TV devices seemed to be a great idea. Read more…
