Panasonic has just officially launched their latest Blu-ray recorder, which they stated as Earth’s smallest Blu-ray recorder, if there’s any in Jupiter, or Mar Sara. This fashionable Blu-ray recorder was previously introduced as a concept, and is now finally making its way into retail stores for ¥70,000 ($861) in black or white. Purchasable in Japan starting in November 15th, so if you’re in Japan, grab it!

Care for a Gingerbread munching this coming snowing holiday? Google might just be the Santa this year as they’re reported to drop Android 3.0 into some tablets this coming December. Yey… Just when you want to grab that sexy Galaxy Tab. Thinking twice now eh? You can thank me later. There’s some folk tale circulating that during this Christmas HTC, Samsung, and Motorola will be showing off some of their Gingerbread themed tablets to the public, and they’ll even reach retail in as early as January. But one thing to note, is that it’s very much confirmed that it’s Android 3.0 that’s coming this December, but nobody knows whether it’s Gingerbread, of the tablet-minded Honeycomb, or is it Banana-split.

The FaceTime for Mac will be a standalone app instead of sharing the same platform as the iChat AV. Users can use their Mac’s Address Book and make calls right from the app. Is Apple trying to kill off Skype from the Mac? The app automatically adjusts the display pending on the other end’s display, whether it’s portrait or landscape. There’s also full screen mode to go to. Try it out!
