And I thought those Bluetooth headsets are common stuff, from Jabra and co. But no, Bose’s here to release a Bluetooth headset, and they claim it to be ‘its first single-ear Bluetooth headset’.

Flexible, implantable LEDs is the new body fashion

Guys, please don’t, I repeat, DO NOT show this to the tattoo guys down the street. If you do, then we’re gonna get a revolution on the fashion sense of tattoo and skin embedment. Yes, LED lights are cool, and they look great on your car as the morning running lights. But we humans are cool enough, and we don’t need these LEDs on our skin as daylight running lights please. Someone in their sane mind went to develop this international research project or implantable LEDs. Read more…

AMD Radeon HD 6870 and HD 6850 teased in picture, coming this Friday

Friday is the day, says AMD as they tease us more with a classical teasing image. For now, we have the full titles of its leading lights, namely the Radeon HD 6870 and Radeon HD 6850, along with some knowledge. The default output arrangement includes no less than five ports, including two DVI, one HDMI (1.4a), and two Mini DisplayPorts. Still Mini DisplayPorts, so I guess AMD still doesn’t had the room to fit them big size in.

Microsoft to spend one billion dollars advertising Kinect and Windows Phone 7

Microsoft is trying to kill the phrase “What’s a Kinect?” Microsoft’s dead serious about making Kinect a success and wants to make sure that every kid and mum knows what it is. That’s some $500 million worth of seriousness. Read more…

Wii Remote Plus hits Europe on 5 November

Lucky Brits! Europe is first from the gate with an official launch date for the new Wii Remote Plus: November 5th. Unfortunately, there’s no price mentioned, which is rather odd. What we do know is that it will launch in the four colors shown above and integrate into a single Wiimote, what used to require a separate Wii Remote and Wii MotionPlus add-on when being demoed by Nintendo. Too bad Nintendo’s pricing and availability announcement strategy isn’t as simple. But still, they’re getting it first. Not fair!

Samsung Galaxy Tab redesigned for KDDI, called it the SMT-i9100

Samsung has given its KDDI version Galaxy Tab a slightly altered look. But that’s not the only changes. The 7-inch slate device will have some features stripped, like 3G. But in exchange, it’s getting KDDI-customized software aboard.

Last call for HyperMac charging cables

Last call for HyperMac charging cables

And it seemed they lost the battle. HyperMac just announced that it will cease the sale of MacBook charging cables and car chargers for the moment — on November 2nd at 00:00 US Pacific Time. There’s no mention of whether they will be back for sell or not, as Sanho tried to negotiate with Apple. While the HyperMac batteries will be sold, you won’t be able to charge your MagSafe-equipped MacBook without the cable. Sounds abit blatant. This is obviously the direct result of the paten-infringement lawsuit that Apple throws over at Sanho regarding their unlicensed use of Apple’s MagSafe power connector. Read more…

Facebook apps and games dishing out your user ID to unauthorized third parties

So you thought tweaking your privacy settings could actually keep you private on Facebook? Haha, that’s very wrong, if you happen to play any Facebook game. Looks like super tight privacy setting still can’t stop people from knowing your details. The Wall Street Journal has some saddening news for you and everyone else playing Farmville on the ‘book: your favourite apps are transmitting your user ID to advertisers and other third parties, and there’s pretty much nothing you can do about it. Dell's Inspiron 15R Alloy Edition ‘coming soon’?

Dell's Inspiron 15R Alloy Edition ‘coming soon’?

A notebook is supposed to be light in order to be portable. So I don’t see the point of making an ‘alloy edition’ notebook sir. Is allow lighter than plastic? We’ll find out soon when Dell launches its new Inspiron 15R Alloy Edition.

The notebook is only available in a “waves” pattern that we can only hope looks better and classier in real. As for the laptop’s specs, you can expect the usual choice of Core i3, i5 or i7 processors, typical 15.6-inch 1,366 x 768 display resolutions, integrated Intel graphics or an optional ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to a 750GB hard drive. Somewhat curiously, while the laptop is up on Dell’s site with a “customize” button, it isn’t yet actually available to customize, and there isn’t a starting price or release date to be found. Great, some nice teasing there you got Dell.
