Because this is the world’s fastest mobility scooter. Made by Colin Furze, this thing can hit 100kph (69mph). Doesn’t sound very safe to me. Imagine a scooter at that speed. Even my tiny car rattles like no tomorrow at that speed. Read more…

The attentive gang over at Anand have picked out sweet news from AMD’s earnings call last night, citing CEO Dirk Meyer as saying “we will be launching our second-generation DX11 graphics offerings next week.” After announcing the new product line next week, AMD promises to flood the market with “hundreds of thousands of units,” which will be shipping before the end of this quarter — meaning you’ll have a Radeon HD 6xxx in time for the holiday gaming craze if you really want it. That’s great. Last time AMD had a crisis of shortage for HD5000-series when it was launched. Read more…

Yes the iPad is marvellous. It’s an evolution. But don’t you just hate that there’s no real keyboard when you really need to type something? Apple has a dock with keyboard for you, but who’s going to carry them around in a bag? Totally beats the iPad’s idea of portability. But now, there’s a solution from Thanko. It’s a Bluetooth keyboard for your iPad, and it comes in a leather case. Read more…

Designed by Carson Leong, the Vol Portable Speaker is a unique speaker concept that looks like a Chinese paper lantern. This speaker also uses the natural up-down sliding motion to increase and decrease the sound volume. Obviously, this is just a concept, so can somebody go and make this happen?

This has to be the best looking car around. It’s also the fastest around you know. The days of the Veyron Supersport really is short lived. SSC launched this Ultimate Aero II, their ultimate car. It has a powerplant in the form of a 6.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that has 1,350 horses. Ouch! Bye bye Veyron. The top speed of this angel (or devil) is 275mph (442.5kph). Doesn’t beat the Veyron Supersport by a lot, but still it’s a staggering number. Read more…

Viewsonic has roll out a new 24-inch V3D241wm-LED 3D monitor, and they’re kind enough to include a pair of active 3D glasses. 3D monitors are getting common these days, and so Viewsonic announced loudly that they’re 120Hz frame rate, and 2ms response time, so it’s the best for your gaming and movies.
Right, that’s all? No. they’ve thrown in two watt speakers, 300 nits of brightness, a supposed ‘Omigawd’ 20,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and the usual Eco mode to cut down on power consumption. Yes, it’s very green! It’s already sold in the UK for £330.

And they’re obviously massively covered with diamonds. Surely something the filthy rich would want. I mean, if you’re THAT rich, do you want to have the same phone as the rest of the millions of people in this world? Not really. So, you look for Stuart Hughes and he customizes your iPhone 4 into the “world’s most expensive phone”. That’s the case for the Australian client. Hughes made two identical models for him (or her) and each handset includes over 500 diamonds and total of over 100 karats. Since it’s so special (and bloody hell expensive) it also comes with its own special granite box. Well, hopefully this diamond crafted iPhone 4 will solve the antenna issue too. How much? Yes, everyone wanted to ask, because they can’t afford. Well, it’s £5 million, which is around USD8 million. How many normal iPhone 4 can you get with that amount of money?

This is not your ordinary MP3 player or iPod fighter from Siemens. It’s something perhaps your grandpa will like, if he had hearing problems. By linking Siemens earphones and special Tek transmitters, you’ll be able to hook this miniTek audio hub up directly to a phone, audio player or PC over Bluetooth or 3.5mm jack, and the matchbox-sized, two-ounce remote will wirelessly stream audio from a maximum of two devices, for up to five hours straight. It also has an integrated coil for induction loop audio too. But it doesn’t come cheap, which makes it not your ordinary wireless headphone.

Skype has turned their beta 5 to golden, and what you’re getting around this time is something nearing the phrase of a ‘Facebook phone’. Yes, there’s some ‘drastic’ change to the interface, but what’s more important to note is the integration of Facebook into Skype 5.0. Sad but true, everything these days revolves around Facebook.
