May I say that this is an example of ‘Stupidity has no boundaries’? I’ve come across a number of news that says people getting lost or involved in some sort of accident due to ‘over-relying’ on their GPS navigator when driving. Sometimes we can’t blame the GPS as the maps might get out-dated, or a diversion due to road works, that throws you and your trustworthy gadget off course, and took you some time to realize that you’re going the wrong way. We’ve seen Hollywood heavily using the 3D marketing gimmick to earn big bucks, but I’ve yet to see gaming industry lifting off with 3D in a big way. But now, we’ll need glasses when we’re gaming. Activision and developer Treyarch are adding a new dimension to the Call of Duty series, bringing stereoscopic 3D visuals to Call of Duty: Black Ops for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Read more…
You might have read about Duke Nukem coming back to do some mayhem. But have you seen him pee? Here’s a video of the actual live demo, all thanks to frantic fans with HD camcorders and some nice steady hands. Manual image stabilizer yo!
Continuing a long practice as far fetch back as the original version of NBA Jam, which included political figures like Bill Clinton and Prince Charles, EA’s latest game in the franchise will feature some more present-day characters, like President Barack Obama and Sarah Palin. Read more…
The Sacrifice episode DLC is now available free for PC players of Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. Get it while its hot guys. Also, to ‘celebrate’ this DLC’s release, Valve is selling both games (L4D and L4D2) on PC for less than Xbox 360 players will pay for the DLC alone. Ouch!
While PC players are already getting up to their elbows in The Sacrifice for Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead, Xbox 360 Left 4 Dead 2 owners are patiently awaiting to pay 560 Microsoft points ($7) for the privilege. Sucks to be at the console bench now. But that’s not the only agony that you’ll have to bear. Valve has given discount for both PC games, at a frigging 66% rate! That’s about $6.79 per piece. It’s only $10.20 for both games, or $20.40 for a four-pack of either title. $5 for a game! Ok, who want to bulk with me? Oh yes, I already have the game…
Oh, plus the Mac version of Left 4 Dead 2 goes live today as well, for the same low price. Happy gaming Mac boys and girls. Make sure your Mac can handle it.

When being a normal fan and having an Anime Hug Pillow isn’t enough, you’ll want to let the rest of the world know that you’re a diehard otaku. No, screaming out loud at Shibuya Crossing ain’t gonna make the point. Here’s where the Ita☆Sha comes in. It’s what they call, the ‘Otaku’s ride after dark’. May I say, that some of them look so awful it seemed as if they’ve been gratified. This would only make sense if a 5-year old is legally able to drive.
Photographer Tomoyuki Sakaguchi has published an online gallery of itasha at night. The entire collection is available as an iPad photo book, which also features background love stories about each itasha and its owner, and their long journey.
This sure is a funny world. We have already received rumour that AMD will be launching its Radeon HD 6000 series AMD Technical Forum and Exhibition 2010 in Taiwan on October 19, but word is that it won’t be the only new GPU on the block. There’s another rumour that the green monster might crash the party.
Digitimes reports that Nvidia also has a launch planned for that very same day. Nvidia is planning to launch the new entry-level GeForce GT 430, based on the GF108, on October 19. Along with that comes a price drop of the GeForce GTX 460 768MB to go up against the new Radeon HD “Barts” mid-range products.
While the launch of a low-end GeForce GT 430 GPU won’t do much to threaten the much faster “Barts Simpson” line, the lure of an even more competitively priced GF104 could drizzle a little bit on the AMD’s parade. Sorry Nvidia, but I’m more interested in what the dark side has to offer this time.
